(photo needed to be large, because ehemmmm they're clearly royalty on earth ;)
hi from monsoon season in Sedona!!!
I woke up the other morning to thunder shaking my house & went outside to lay on the porch... I started to feel all the decaying bodies in the earth.. At first i felt a bit shocked, like wow.. Never thought of that one before… but then i started to feel what inside me is also currently decaying.. I wasnt totally aware of this sensation until now.. as i breathed into it… i realized how much time it takes decaying bodies to fully decay.. And what happens in this process? it seems like eventually they merge fully with the earth & her soils, and become mineralized gems inside her…
Just as compost becomes nutrient rich soil… so too does that which is decaying become gems..
it seems that peacocks, tulsi, and moths offer a very unique trinity of grace and peace during a process of decay.
Through surrender to defeat & decay only the most vital soils can be sewn, so whatever is to come of decay can only be of beauty & love.
Maybe like a decaying body in the earth… the gems inside the body are only awaiting decay of all that is not true in order to fully shine through. Maybe peacocks, moths, & tulsi can be guides through this.. & Maybe through the process of decay, peacocks can help us remember & more clearly see the emeralds inside the heart…
Peacocks..
Birds of the earth.. Who can’t fly high, but can assimilate poison inside their bodies to create their vibrant colors of beauty.. Birds of the earth, walking on the ground.. Gems in each of their feathers, as though god’s infinite diamond eyes see and reflect back to life through each of their feathers.. birds of romance & exotic dance.. they are walking sensual masterpieces..
Maybe they are connectors from the heavens and earth, maybe their feet connect the gems in their feathers to the gems inside the earth.. Maybe their feathers are bridges that anchor the light coming down from the celestial realms grounding it into the soils of the earth.. peacocks are guides through limitations we face in life..mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually.. you name it.. they ask us to be BOLD and move thru the limitation with diamond like elegance.. to see the gems that await on the other side.
maybe in the midst of decay or deep transformation, these birds arrive in their not so casual royal elegance, reminding one how much beauty can be birthed through assimilation & decay.. & through the digestion of life, lessons, tests, challenge, what more is there to do than create art, bow to the beauty all around, and thank god for new eyes to see.
Since may of 2022 peacocks have also really been showing up when i need to spend more time in presence and awe of the living holy waters inside my body and inquire with them. What is the vibrational state of the waters inside my body in any given moment? And when life gets challenging, do i TRULY believe i can change the vibration of my being but speaking sweet love songs to the waters within in less than 1 second..
Peacocks are like yup keep going until you FULLY believe and know this.. Keep going until every disbelief has decayed into gems..
& moths… mmm how I love them so much! Pollinators of the night. Jewels who fly under the direction of the moon. In early may i started finding dead moths everywhere.. I collected them everyday for a little while & moths kept showing up on the walls in my room right before bed for a couple weeks.
At first I realized the moths were coming as a messenger of courage from a plant ally. Moths bodies are quite literally reorganized in order to become moths from caterpillars.. as caterpillars in union with Earth, they become moths in union with the moon.. Carrying the information from the gems inside earth, through the night and to the moon in their becoming. Maybe similar to peacocks in their own way..
Side note Per google…
“However, the moth, attracted by the flame—just as the soul is by heavenly truth—burns itself in the flame, reflecting the trials that must be endured to eliminate the flesh before knowing the joys of the beyond."
I already feel fall on the horizon, and this brings me to introduce our lovely friend, Tulsi.. Because I suspect that moths and peacocks, somehow somewhere have a beautiful relationship with Tulsi.. Lemme know your thoughts xx
Just like a peacock has a many eyes of god/gems in its feathers, so too does the moth wings… so too, does a tulsi flower in full bloom..
If you are in a process of decay or just feeling exhaustion from late summer (aka if you felt struck by lightning at all this summer energetically.. or even if you're just called into a divine plant romance with this holy herb).. Tulsi can help! :)
**(this is not herbal advice im only speaking from experience).. But a cup of tulsi mid day for 2 weeks, or a Tulsi facial steam or herbal bath can soothe the soul in gorgeous ways!
To me Tusli feels like..
“take your time.. enjoy the beauty along the way.. It’s not all that serious.. The waters in your bodies have an extraordinary intelligence.. Let me merge with them & we’ll go for a walk with the peacocks… & just see what happens “
A cup of tulsi is like a hug from an auntie that has been awaiting your arrival after being out on long adventures of life.. Learning, growing, expanding, making mistakes, feeling potentially defeated at times… all the humanness.. You arrive at this aunties door, and she’s like… “Aww my sweet honey, how are you? Let me meet you exactly where you’re at.. & tell me alllll about your adventures out there, and how much fun you have, how much love you shared, everything you learned…”
She Resets, relaxes, revitalizes, replenishes the nervous system in a way that no other plant does.. & from my experience calms the 3 brains and brings them into coherence & maybe even a deeper surrender to the heart.. Activating the gates in and around the heart for an ancient remembering of your essence.
If you feel like working with Tulsi, but don’t know where to start, reach out & i’m happy to send you some and support you in this way!
PS many of you have been sharing how peacocks are coming to you, id love to know more in comments below <3
xx
All the love,
Jessica
