Birthday Prayers are Important…

sept 11, 2023.. a dream within a dream.. & "Water as the elixer of love"

hi from sedona!!! alas, i made it to these enchanting waters... & to be honest, i was quite overwhelmed by the beauty... i wondered the whole time if there is a word in spanish or some language for something that is "overwhelmingly beautiful..." breath taking to say the least.. fresh water waterfalls always have the affect on me more so than anywhere... their enchantment overwhelms me, consumes me, enlivens my spirits, and hypnotizes me in the most awe inspiring/humbling ways... such a mystery you are, turquoise waters...i love you...

im more curious than ever... what is your relationship to water? to the water you drink? the water inside your body, the water that you are?

I mostly thought my blogs would be about plants, but it turns out, my devotion now has taken a deep dive into the studies of Water.

I have been observing life from the curiosity of the aliveness of Water recently... wondering if maybe life is just a series of journeys from one body of water to the next...

maybe we’re just giant water droplets wearing time & memories…

maybe we aren’t actually writing the book, but rather the book is writing & unwriting us.. maybe the painting is painting us... maybe the painting tell the story before the story is told...

maybe our favorite colors are really actually important..

maybe just maybe… there’s an intelligence inside us, guiding it all.. an intelligence system of love/water beyond space + time that knows exactly what it's doing...

maybe it really does matter that we trust ourselves.. that our own internal system of self validation is stronger than ALL external noise…

im starting to see how fragrance really does guide..

maybe it’s ok to go where we’re appreciated.. truly appreciated & to know how palpable that really is.. maybe the word palpable is a guide. A road map. Palpable as a teacher of intuition… even deeper, strengthening & trusting intuition. maybe that which is palpable is just merely informing our inner waters & guiding us...

maybe we’ll never see the bloom of all the seeds planted, but our grandchildren will make herbal medicine with these blooming flowers & remember us.. thanks to the plants + water..

maybe there’s more to perennial shrubs… than just their decoration in a garden (lol)… maybe they know a great deal about our ancestors…

maybe just maybe my mom didn’t know how significant the memories id have as a child of her tending to her rose garden would be… how it was ok if all other crops & plants didn’t make the harvest, but her rose garden was ALWAYS pristine…

maybe my grandma will never know how i never truly fell in love with sunsets until summer 2023 when i realized how much she loved them… after that day outside of time by the enchanting waters...

maybe the dandilion wishes i made when i was 12 yrs old have ridden a breeze of winds for 14 years.. landing me gently in this dandelion room so i can learn more about miracles, water & art..

maybe just maybe we’re always right on time… & maybe misalignment shows us how intelligent our souls design is to come back into realignment..

maybe there’s helpful pressure & not so helpful pressure, and maybe we can easily sift thru & choose.. knowing that the helpful pressure creates the diamonds & the unhelpful pressure suppresses it…

maybe if my birthday wish to swim in a waterfall in kauai'i this year didn’t happen… life had something better in store for me.. waterfall prayer still answered, but more magical than could’ve dreamed… bless the best case scenario for always taking form..

maybe all i really know abt myself is that my fascination with dreams has always & will always be my north star & compass in life..

fascinated since my youth that somehow the night & day time dreams are one in the same.. dreams become reality… & lucidity of life = lucidity in the dreams.. we are always creating… in waking & sleep states consciously or unconsciously.. my favorite ways to find more presence + lucidity?

spend time in nature, give thanks to the elements, sensually allow life in, laugh often & notice when the body isn’t breathing.

to me, birthday wishes and prayers are important.. I've recently revisited the prayers I wrote on my 26 birthday. the anchoring of prayers on my birthday for my year ahead have surely been a palpable road map.. unfolding in their own mysterious ways, many dreams dreamed, creek dips, and perfumes smelt in between...

for those of you who've known me sometime, you know that dreams are my greatest fascination in life... (along with plants & now water of course)... I've been tracking my dreams since I was about 13 years old, and went to 3 different universities just because they offered study on dreamwork..

I will say with deepest gratitude to the dreamtime, thank god I saved all those dream journals, because time really is a spiral & the dreams I dreamed 8 years ago are still just as alive as the ones I'll dream tonight...

per my annual nudge.. if you feel compelled to start a dream journal, autumn equinox/fall is perfect time to begin and anchor intentions to create connection and relationship with the dream time through the winter hibernation...

i pray that this week, you give extra grace to yourself just because you’re alive! & drink extra water!
