In Gratitude to Floral Prayers..
In Gratitude to the slow nurturing Love of Mother Winter

::to the flowers thank you for your profound brilliance, I love you.
In the midst of Winter, i lay next to the fire with my heart petaled & my prayers close.
My prayers close.
::without you Water & flowers, my prayer would not be possible, so thank you. I honor you, and sing your praise.
thank you to prayer as structured Emanations of Light Consciousness, for a n c h o r i n g into my bodies Waters, and rippling through my life mysteriously in your own Divine Time through the song of my s p o k e n voice, devotion surrender, ancestral symbolism…
Thank you to the teacher of Faith & the nectar of flowers for teaching me to walk a path devoted to prayer.
Great Mother, thank you for enshrining me with your golden Rose rooted & blooming fragrant Love.
Through this holy season of winter may I keep my prayers close & my heart soft, petaled.
May I surrender fully to the stillness of the land i live on, listening to the silent songs of the trees. May i be slow & silent enough to hear the floral laughter charming my heart reminding me to keep pouring my heart into art.
If we’re lucky enough to hug ones we love, may our hugs be the warmest fires of God’s Love that heals hearts & keeps us warm until the flowers bloom once again.
Thank You to the White Rose. To Cliff Rose. Purple Rose. The Blue Rose. all colors of the Rose, faces of Her. To Her Lady Rose of Venus, the Wild Rose. Rue. Rhododendron. Violet for fragrancing the way...

I pray to you Sacred Flowers engulf & enshrine me in your holy fire of pristine floral Love this year.
petal my way forward through the perfection of your geometric fragrance.
through this season of winter, dearest darling flowers, cradle me in your blankets of petaled love & warmth as i rest & dream in the void of the great cosmic mothers arms.
i’ve learned this year that in this life the need is strong, for me to sit long enough in silence & reverence, to know/find the prayer that needs to be prayed or the song that needs to be sung.
Thank you to the mother of winter for helping me remember & integrate prayer as my
s a n c t u a r y. My O a s i s.
Woven through the living consciousness of Faith.
to me, F a i t h is as important as the Water i drink everyday. leaving me in wonder if maybe faith keeps the bodies water molecules structured & tranquil...
::
most questions i ask lead not to answers but more questions, so i'll leave you with a scented story of a winter journey through the desert..
::
It was on a lovely winter tuesday when a handful and a half (8 to be exact) of plants got together and decided to get me out of bed… a new friend indeed made herself known to me, lady rhododendron is she…
Heaven sent with a heavenly scent, lady rhododendron tapped me on the head early in the afternoon after I prayed a prayer to the flowers,
“ok flowers, you show me the way…”
plants are usually pretty obvious and loud in their call to humans, but i will admit this is the first time a plant/flower has tapped my head. hmmmm mysterious i thought..
that was my first mistake… thinking.
She said darling i see what you need, i can help ya with that. just turn on your phone, open your gps and go to the mystical scent oasis in the middle of the desert. you know.. the one you’ve been meaning to go to. it’s time. get your shoes on let’s go!
i laid in bed contemplating if i should drive this far on my day off (22 minutes lol).. as i laid there a little longer I noticed her tapping me again. “you’re overthinking this. it’s absolute-ly not that far let me help you. a few floral friends await you.. and oh yes you’re beloved friend rue. she’s there too.”
Rue oil????? She was not wrong - the first bottle of Rue oil ive ever seen.. A miracle if you ask me..
Somehow the plants know if they mention Rue, i am there..
So off i was, out of bed on my day off driving through the desert to find some scents/sense ;)
i arrived at the mystical desert scent haven in the middle of the desert. this little place absolutly off the beaten path.. but plants have a way of taking one right where they need to be. right on time. i love the ways the flowers can pierce with diamond like precision through the subtle bodies, in spirit and matter. awakening all the petals within.. emeralds within. awakening the eden within & fragrancing their unshakable love across the vibratory energetic body bringing beauty and divine floral order to one’s energetic structure and water molecules. & there for life ..
thank you flowers for being miracle balms of the Great Mother.
I left the magical scent oasis engulfed, truly engulfed in divinely ordered fragrance of warmth, love, bliss, peace, serenity… i was so relaxed that i left some things behind to which the lady ran after me… “Jessica! You’re high on oils you forgot your papers..”
As i laughed out loud, i heard Violet’s sweetest voice and floral laughter whisper softly in my ear..
“see Jessica we told you we knew what you needed.. Have f a i t h beloved heart.”
adorned in floral fragrance of rhododendron, spikenard, coffee flower, mimosa, rue & violet i lay on a sheepskin next to Grandfather fire giving offerings of pine, chapparell sage & cacao.
a scent/sense (& for the penny peeps lol, cents)…of relief washes over me.. winter is here. I love every season in their own way, but i was born in the middle of winter, a little after noon.
i love the beauty that winter brings..
the crystalline snowflaked wintery void of the Great Mother’s embrace.. a time to dream the dreams but be still enough, silent enough, patient enough to see what too is dreaming us into be, come fragrant spring... to hear the silence symphony singing within our hearts.
the natural contraction of the body amidst winter allows for a simultaneous profound heart expansion. thank you mother winter, for this beloved gift..To go within amidst the cold, and rest in silence, stillness, pause, free of distraction to let go enough to fully become our hearts, if only even just for a moment.
thank you to the plants and elements for reminding me to slow down, and then slow down some more. and then slow down some more. thank you for reminding me to add another log to the fire even though it’s late, just because winter is here and the bears are resting. Thank you for reminding me to enjoy the precious moments of Love and savor all the sweetest most precious nectars of life over this beloved Winter season, for no other reason than because I am simply, beautifully divinely a l i v e & full of l i f e <3
if it wasn’t for faith filled prayers, i certainly would not have met lady rhododendron & violet on this fine winter day… Thank you darlings for making yourself known to my beloved heart. may we dance a s l o w dance together over winter.. May we dance a dance of deep nourishment, rest, care, devotion, & bathe together in the preciousness of l i f e.
Love,
Jessica
