Jewels of Winter

Hi there, I hope you are doing well. 

It's time to rest & celebrate!!! 

“Now is the time to pause, rest & then celebrate. Pause, rest & then celebrate!” 

words from my friend Cypress, the traveling & dancing tree. This tree has been traveling globally seeding lands across Gaia for thousands of years, one of the oldest trees on Gaia. 

I feel so lucky to have this friend growing in my yard. I love you Cypress.  Thank you for showing up in whimsical ways.. ensuring all is in order so that I would be in the right place at the right time, on time. Thank you God, thank you Gaia, and thank you Christmas Miracles!

I wanted to send one last newsletter before closing my computer & enjoying / savoring the sweetness of the holidays & the sweetness of Winter. 

A season of celebration, tending, rest & renewal. 2 of my favorite things in life:: resting & celebrating! 2 of my other favorite things, perfume & jewels.

I love celebrating. & I love winter so much. & I love jewels! I love all the seasons but I love winter because it’s really the only season I journey so deeply with grandfather fire for an extended period of time. Fire to fire sewing prayers with my ancestors both past & future.. hearing & honoring their stories & lives. I sit in the deepest gratitude to the pristine miracle of life. I love how winter really gives space for one to really discover all the jewels they have gathered, found, and created over the other seasons.

I’m writing to you fireside, savoring the sweetest melodies of the juniper wood crackling.. The wisdom of the wood reminding me just how long these trees have been here. Every drop of water it took for these trees to grow. Every storm they’ve weathered, & the intricacy and strength of their root system..

The contemplation of a single tree leaves me speechless, yet with tears of profound gratitude in my heart & eyes. Bowing each day to the wisdom & love of the trees, water, & the sleeping bees. The profound wisdom of Gaia.

To savor the sweetness, every intricacy connected to this moment in time.

To savor, truly s a v o r one must slow down. The senses can sense at any speed of course as our friends the Jaguars show us.. yet when one slows down, reallllly slooooows down, the sensory experience of life is completely attuned to a much deeper perception. One that might leave one in total awe. Our friends the Jaguars also show us this. 

Winter reminds us to pause, to s a v o r the beauty of life.. to celebrate ourselves & all the lessons we overcome, the inner strength we found, the laughter & love we’ve shared & the fact that we’re just really all doing our best. That is it an absolute miracle we are even alive as living bodies of water & light. Water literally decided to walk, and then we became. She's so wise. That deserves a celebration!!! 

What if everything is happening in our favor? What if everything was happening for us? In favor of our souls highest design? In favor of us being in the right place at the right time..

Mother Winter asks us to pull out the dream journal.. to tend to the fire inside the Emerald Heart & listen.

What does your heart really want?

If you imagined a world of peace, what would it look like? 

Winter romance is fireside nights in counsel with plants & ancestors.. decorated with copal burning & fragranced with my most favorite oils & scents, & pots of plant alchemy carried by dragons adorned with raw honey. 

Thank you Grandfire for continually reminding me of the power of Love & the power that lay within a heart that is tended to.. the power of clarity, soul remembering, & understanding within a fire that is tended to. 

Mother Winter gives us the great gift to tend to our precious hearts.

Thank you Grandfire for reminding me of the power of alchemy. Soul coded alchemy that works with the original seed of light within the heart to transform all that needs to be transformed in order to fully arrive at a place of a bee-autifull celebration! Celebration now & come spring ;) Thank you for reminding me that the fire within the Emerald Heart is a Universal Alchemist.. able to alchemize with a single breath, a single offering, thus generating/accessing/integrating more love & profound renewal of body, mind, spirit.

Thank you Grandfire for reminding me how my prayers really adorn, align, heal, reveal, strengthen, & nourish in ways far beyond my understanding.. may each Winter I experience only take me deeper into my prayers and strengthen my faith. 

& thank you to all the wise woman I've met along my Earth walk, who’ve taught me how to have my prayers work for me & me work with them. 

Thank you Grandfire for reminding me how much words matter.. that our songs & prayers spoken out loud can create wondrous beauty & peace. 

Lastly, thank you Grandfire for reminding me that the Emerald Chalise is the only one I can drink from to fully sustain myself. 

Stay warm, call your loved ones & if you’re lucky enough to hug the ones you love, may the hugs keep you warm until the flowers bloom again.
